Chorley Win North Cheshire Challenges

The annual North Cheshire Challenges, hosted by North Chesire PS, were held last week in Poynton and we were extremely pleased to have won both the Print and PDI competitions.

In the PDI Competition on Thursday, we fielded an all nature entry to win competition on 26 points, 6 point ahead of Southport PS in second place. Our entry consisted of:

  • Burrowing Owl with Chick by Kitty Walsh

  • Four Wasps Drinking by Roy Rimmer

  • Pine Marten Hunting in the Rain by John Cobham

  • Silverback Leader by Steve Procter

  • Least Terns by Geoff Walsh

This followed from the Print Competition on Wednesday where we scored a total of 93 points, ahead of North Cheshire in second place with 88 points. Our entry was as follows:

  • Alone by Steve Procter

  • Young Eagle Hunter by Jane Lines

  • Five Wasps Drinking by Roy Rimmer

  • Bull Run by Adrian Lines

  • Tempest by Lee Sutton
